Project Overview

A secure and intelligent access control solution designed for a medical clinic, combining a smart door lock with centralized voice and monitoring capabilities. The system enables controlled staff access, real-time monitoring, and enhanced safety through automation and alerts.

What Was Implemented
• Individual access codes for each staff member, with the ability to add, name, enable, or disable codes remotely
• Remote door control, allowing authorized administrators to lock or unlock the door from anywhere
• Multiple admin access, enabling more than one manager to securely oversee the system
• Real-time door status monitoring, showing when the door is locked, unlocked, opened, or closed
• Activity history, providing a log of door usage and access events

Safety & Monitoring Features
• Sound detection alerts, notifying administrators if alarm sounds (such as fire alarms) are detected within the building
• Instant notifications for door open/close events to improve awareness and security
• Battery level monitoring, allowing proactive maintenance before power issues occur

Communication & Office Flow Enhancements
• Intercom and voice assistant integration, used for internal communication and calling the next patient
• Ambient background music playback through a connected speaker, improving the waiting-room experience

Remote Management & Convenience
• Access codes can be created, modified, or revoked remotely
• Each access code is assigned a name, making staff management clear and organized
• Administrators can monitor and manage the system from anywhere, ensuring uninterrupted clinic operations
